Create a user

  1. Click User Management > Manager Users > Users.

  2. Click create button.

    Note Any User Role chosen for an existing user is displayed in the Role column.

    If information icon is after the Role, this indicates individual user rights are different from the User Role. This occurs when a Role was chosen and then User Rights were modified.

    Warning DO NOT edit individual User Rights when a Role is selected.

  3. Enter the new users' details and click Save button.

    Tip To add a user roles for selecting in the Role dropdown field, refer to Create a user role.

    Warning If selecting a user Role, DO NOT edit the User Rights.

  4. Warning

    DO NOT add spaces when typing the Username.

    A Username CANNOT be modified. If a username is forgotten - refer to Recover a forgotten username.

    Note An email is sent informing the new user they have been registered. The email will contain the username, password, and a link to the P2i Main Dashboard.

    While logging in, there is a prompt to change the password. Refer to Login to the P2i Main Dashboard

    Note Default user rights are provided.

    Refer to User Rights table to check if default rights are suitable for this user and if not suitable, refer to topic Update User Rights.
